FIFA to decide on the use of goal-line technology in July
FIFA have today announced that they will continue with ‘experiments’ regarding the use of goal line technology in matches, and will reach a final decision on the issue at an International Football Board Association (IFAB) meeting in July. This latest announcement comes a week after Harry Kewell’s (remember him?) goal for Melbourne Victory against Gold Coast United didn’t stand, despite clearly crossing the line.
