There was high drama aplenty in last night's Game 6 of the NBA Finals between LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers and Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors.

The Cavaliers took home a 115-101 victory thanks, in no small part, to Steph Curry being ejected from the game with 4:22 remaining the fourth quarter after recording a sixth personal foul by throwing his mouthpiece into the crowd in a fit of frustration.

Things weren't helped by the fact that the mouthpiece hit the son of one of the owners of the Cavs.

The source of Curry's frustration? For the most part, it was the 6'8" frame of one LeBron James and the below clip will help illustrate exactly why it may have felt that he was a child playing ball with his big brother.

Curry, the two-time MVP who has been a revelation this season, will likely see a fine rather than a suspension for his indiscretion meaning that he won't miss the crucial seventh game in the series, which is currently tied at 3-3.

He later told ESPN:

I've thrown my mouthpiece before. I usually aim at the scorer's table. I was off aim. Definitely didn't mean to throw it at a fan. That was obviously not where I was trying to take my frustration out.

Curry's wife Ayesha was perhaps slightly more bitter at the proceedings and, as is always a terrific idea when you're incredibly frustrated, took to Twitter to make her feelings known.

In a tweet, which has now been deleted, Mrs. Curry alleged that the finals had been fixed.

The LeBron v Curry rivalry is a fascinating subplot in the NBA finals. While we don't have any numbers on last night's game just yet, Game 5 in the series drew an astounding 20 million viewers for US TV network ABC making it the highest viewed fifth game in a series since 2004.

You'd expect that figure to be even higher for Game 7 now.
