If you say the name Darryl Strawberry to any Irish person, the chances are that they will think of his Simpsons cameo.
Maybe not anymore. The former baseball great revealed on Sirius XM radio in America that he used to have sex during his baseball games in the clubhouse with random women who would be in the crowd:
Q - Have you ever had sex in the ballpark?
A - If I was on the road, it was a great possibility
Q - At a stadium, like before a game, during a game?
A - At a stadium yeah, in the middle of a game.
Q - Wait, what?
A - Let's just leave it at that. Been there, done that.
Q - Are you playing in that game?
A - Yes, I'm playing. Between innings. It worked out well, just how crazy it was.
Q - That's gotta be pre-arranged, you don't just see a girl in the stands?
A - It kind of worked out that way. You point her out and tell the kid [to go get her].
It turns out that Strawberry that had a very controversial career, but has reformed and is now a Christian minister. He was on the show promoting the upcoming ESPN 30 for 30 called "Doc and Darryl" which sounds like it will be a must watch.
It kind of ruins this scene though.
Maybe now Strawberry will get reminded more about his baseball career than his Simpsons cameo
