It was history for Mo Farah on Saturday night. He became the first ever British track and field athlete to win three Olympic gold medals.
Bar a fall - caused by his good friend Galen Rupp midway through the race - the 10,000m final could not have gone much more ideally for Farah. He looked comfortable throughout.

As he approached the final 200m of the race, Farah was exactly where he wanted to be - on the shoulder of the leader. His kick was irresistible.
Impressive the performance may have been from Farah, but Steve Cram's commentary on the BBC still excessive in its acclaim for the 33-year-old.
