Dubliner Kellie Harrington had to settle for a silver medal in the final of the AIBA women's boxing World Championships. China's Wenlu Yang proved too much for Harrington, as Yang added the world championships to her Asian title.

Yang was always ahead on the judge's scoreboard - unanimously winning the first round - before taking the majority in the second, third, and final rounds.

It still represents a fantastic tournament for Harrington - who wins her first World Championships medal, and although she didn't become the second Irish female to win a World Championships - the 26-year-old will be very happy with her performances.
