If Welker, catches the ball the Patriots more than likely win the game and spend today getting ready for a Duck Boat parade through the streets of Boston. However, that drop is not the only reason for the loss and to me the real game changer happened once Brady hurt his left shoulder following a sack.

Although no one on the Patriots will admit it, the Quarterback was not the same player we had seen earlier in the game, the accuracy and zip that had been evident in earlier drives disappeared almost instantaneously. This might help to explain why Brady under threw Gronkowski leading to the Giants interception and why he threw behind Welker, causing the normally reliable wide receiver to have to morph into a Russian gymnast as he contorted his body in mid-air trying to grab the ball.

A lot of little things went against the Patriots in that game, the bizarre safety at the start, the failure to recover either forced fumble or the inability of the offense to muster up one more scoring drive after their opening score of the second half. That’s the reason the Pats lost the game not one man’s error but a series of them and yes, Gisele even Tom made them too.

The above clip is from a minor league hockey game between the Lincoln Stars and the Des Moines Buccaneers. Pretty cool right,now imagine how compelling it would have been if the referee at the Dromid Pearses and Derrytresk brawl had been wearing a similar camera. Something for the GAA to consider I think.
