The time is almost upon us.

Some of you may have already started playing Football Manager 2015 via the downloadable beta demo, but for the majority, November 7th is the date that Football Manager 2015 is released.

Say your goodbyes to friends, family, colleagues, and everyone you don't live with.

If they are not living under the same roof as you and won't bring you various items from the kitchen/the outside world, then tell them you'll see them sometime around Christmas.

"The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 15 to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed. It will also fix the fact that the German National team doesn't call up real players."
Legal problems mean that certain players/leagues are not properly licensed in Football Manager 2015, but thankfully the lads at sortitoutsi.net have done the hard work to make your game as authentic as possible. Get it here.

Make sure your suit is dry cleaned.

With the new job interview feature it is more important than ever that your best suit is ready to go in order to make a good impression, and of course, for cup finals.

You know full well that you won't be able to stop hitting 'Continue' for long enough to prepare a meal, so Pot Noodle will be the staple of your diet for the foreseeable future, and the energy drinks will ensure you make it to just one more transfer window before you black-out. It might be an idea to stock up on multivitamin tablets at well...

Do your research!

We reccommend at least an hour on sqwakwa.com to get an idea for the different football philosophies of clubs in the lower divisions of Europe's finest footballing countries. An idea of the current best players in the Eredivisie and Ligue 2 is also vital. Alternatively if you're not hard-core enough you can wait for our career mode clubs and wonder-kids guides which will come closer to release.

Perfect your laptop-in-bed technique.

This lad clearly just got James Wilson on loan to Gillingham.

The most successful Football Managers are those who refuse to be restricted to "conventional" locations for gaming. Take your work to bed with you and mute your celebrations as your new Ghanaian striker thumps home a last minute winner with your soon-to-be-ex girlfriend asleep beside you.
