"Hail To The Tempest"

Hail to the tempest! -
For he was relentless,
Furious as a chainsaw, rage was his engine -
He'd take the terrain, each vein full of vengeance,
His was the first head raised from the trenches;
This man's most famous adventure
Saw a midfield blown away when he entered
His trip booked halfway to the bench, this
Big-game hunter slayed a Juventus:
The patron saint of the clenched fist! -
Yes, his stare scared flames into embers -
Hated, courageous,
Dangerous; the centre
Of a decade of Red Satan adventures -
Part devilish.
When he greeted a kneecap,
It seemed that he relished it:
Keen? His name was an understatement -
Since he was the definition of what obsessive is...
His temper wasn't short, it was sawn-off
Shooting his jaw off at prawns and all sorts -
His mouth put his game in jeopardy
More than any maiming in plain sight of referees,
Still, he departed into lore and legend
With the short pass and stormy glance as his weapons:
Keane. Whether you were for or against him,
He was the tempest:
You could not prevent him.
