Bournemouth Fans Sing 'Sacked In The Morning' As LVG Delivers Awkward Speech At Old Trafford

Audible boos greeted Louis Van Gaal when he took the microphone at Old Trafford to deliver a speech at the end of Manchester United's Premier League season.

On the night, Van Gaal's players comfortably eased past Bournemouth by going three goals up before allowing an awful goal in additional time to deny David De Gea a share of the golden glove award for most clean sheets, but many were wondering if Van Gaal would address the crowd after failing to secure a top four finish.

He did, and it was awkward. From the booing at the start, to the Bournemouth fans singing "Sacked in the morning!", to Van Gaal thanking the fans for their unconditional support having just been booed, it was just... A bit awkward.

The Bournemouth fans were wrong, too, as Van Gaal will not be sacked in the morning with Manchester United facing an FA Cup final against Crystal Palace this Saturday, but he may not last long after that.

It's been a terribly disappointing season for United fans, and while a cup win would certainly be welcomed, missing out on Champions League football once again will surely be the reason that a new manager takes the helm next year.
