If you haven't already signed up for the Euro 2016 Facebook group then take a quick look in the mirror and ask yourself what kind of individual you want to be over the next couple of months. We don't want to alarm you but this could potentially be the greatest summer of your life so get on over there, join the group and become part of a community of fans that are getting dangerously excited about what's just around the corner.
However, we've decided that's not quite enough interaction. The Facebook group is open to everyone and anyone but for the fans that are specifically going over to France next month, we thought we'd add in another layer to the coverage.
We're in the process of setting up a WhatsApp group so that a select group of fans in France can receive any important updates straight to the their phone and share any tips they may have about Paris, Bordeaux, Lille or beyond. 'Where's the cheapest pint of beer?' 'Where's the cheapest slate of cans?' etc. In other words, the essentials.
All you have to do is follow the two-step guide below.
- Add us (083 366 6677) to your contacts on your phone as 'Balls.ie'.
- Send us a WhatsApp message with the phrase 'Euro 2016'
We'll be rolling it out across the next month or so but unlike the Facebook group, the WhatsApp group is limited in terms of numbers so get in early and we'll get it filled up as soon as possible.
