Last week, Umbro released a teaser to the Ireland away jersey and we figured out that it would be white - and apparently released on the sixth of May:

Then yesterday, the FAI announced that the unveilment was brought forward by a week. The white away jersey was released, and it's a beauty.

It's nothing like what we expected based on the teaser either, and we are pleasantly surprised:

I don't know about you - but I quite like it. The stripes on the side are an unusual touch but I think it works. It vaguely looked like there could have been full stripes from the teaser - so the actual jersey is quite a surprise.

I'm going as far as saying it's a pleasant surprise. It even makes Richard Keogh look good.

We obviously can't see the back of the jersey - but we already know from the original teaser that it will also be solidly white. We like the collar, and the jersey has nice subtle features and a slick style.

In our minds it's one of the best Ireland away jersey's ever.
