With the group draw made, we now know Ireland's path to the 2018 World Cup.
Ireland got one of the more favourable scenarios in terms of the top two seeds with Wales and Austria providing the challenge. It's good that we managed to avoid the likes of Spain, Germany, Italy and Holland.
However, Ireland managed to get a tough draw with the lower seeds with Serbia, Moldova and Georgia also looking to capitalise on avoiding the big guns.
It will be the first time that Ireland will play Wales since beating them in the Nations Cup. It's been quite a different route to this point for the two countries.
There are nine groups in the UEFA section of qualifying, with seven groups of six, and two groups of five. Ireland have been drawn in a group of six.
Only the pool winners are guaranteed qualification, with eight of the nine runners up going into the playoffs. Because there are different number of teams in each group, the results against the last placed team in the six-team groups will be discounted for playoff qualification.
