Chicharito Could Be About To Take A Major Step Down From The Likes Of Man Utd & Real Madrid

Nobody is quite sure what the future holds for Mexican striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez, after his loan spell with Real Madrid expired and it looks quite clear that he has no future at Manchester United.

Chicharito seems to get goals wherever he plays, as his natural finishing instinct makes up for his lack of use anywhere outside of the penalty area, so you would think that some of the bigger clubs in Europe would be vying for his signature after Real decided not to sign him on a permanent basis. Instead, Javier Hernandez could be set to make a surprise which to the MLS.

Spanish publication AS are reporting that Hernandez's agent has flown to Orlando for talks with new MLS expansion side Orlando City, which means that Chicharito could be teaming up with Sean St.Ledger and Kaka to take the league by storm.

There have been a number of high profile players moving to the MLS in recent months/years, but Hernandez at 27 years of age would be a massive signing for the league. His immense popularity amongst the people of Mexico would no doubt ramp up interest in the MLS, so perhaps moving closer to home would be an idea that the Manchester United fan favourite would like to entertain.

Hernandez's agent is set to meet with a number of clubs in the coming weeks, but Orlando City are believed to be one of them. It seems crazy that a striker who moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid could be playing in the MLS next season, but that's the way football is heading now it appears.
