Pokemon Go is quite literally everywhere now, and the footballing world is no exception. The latest phenomenon managed to infiltrate the LA Galaxy v Huston Dynamo game last night, and the results are glorious.
Twitter user Adam Serrano of the La insider took the unconventional approach in how he told the story on Twitter. His use of Pokemon gifs to the key highlights of the game is certainly unique.
While Robbie Keane didn't have the best of nights last night, after uncharacteristically missing a penalty - Keane's match highlights using Pokemon gifs certainly makes for interesting viewing.
Steven Gerrard scored the only goal in La Galaxy's 1-0 victory after he knocked home Robbie Keane's deflected effort from close range. Galaxy sit third in the MLS, behind Colorado Rapids and Dallas.
