A bare weekend of championship action here and so it was hard to rustle up too many stats from the day just gone.

Two teams taking off in different directions met in the only half interesting game yesterday in Breffni Park - the Ruislip game is interesting from an atmosphere and cultural point of view. Elsewhere, the Munster football championship commenced to the sound of broad indifference despite Clare's recent progress.
