After nearly two years in charge of the Cork footballers, Brian Cuthbert today announced that he would not be seeking reappointment as manager.

Cuthbert's time in charge saw a disappointing return of just three wins in eight Championship games. Though they did surprise many by coming within seconds of defeating Kerry in the drawn Munster final earlier this month.

Following the announcement, Cork panel member Colm O'Driscoll used Twitter to thank Cuthbert and also call out what he saw as 'bullshit and cowardly' criticism of the management team.
