It's been a pretty incredible few months for Paddy Andrews. For some the Brigid's man was something of a forgotten man among Dublin's star-studded forward line. He didn't start any matches for Dublin in the 2015 Leinster championship. Yet, in August, when the championship was on the line, Andrews emerged as a vital cog in Dublin's attacking machine, never moreso than in the first half of the Mayo replay when his points kept Dublin close. Today he was nominated for an All-Star.

We were delighted to welcome the two-time All-Ireland winner to the Hard Shoulder this afternoon. Paddy sat down with Tony and Sweets for a frank discussion on how Dublin won Sam in 2015, how they stayed fresh during the Leinster campaign and how they learned from the drawn match against Mayo and propelled themselves towards a third All-Ireland in five years. Paddy was quite insightful when it came to discussing how he fought his way back into the Dublin panel after being dropped by Pat Gilroy before the Dubs won the 2011 All-Ireland.

Billy Joe Padden also took a call to discuss the latest crisis in Mayo football.

It's an awesome episode of the Hard Shoulder. You can listen below.
