Not for the first time this year, an own point has been scored in Cavan football.

During a County Championship game between Ramor United and Castlerahan, Ramor's Stefan Connolly inadvertently knocked the ball over his own bar while under pressure from Oisin O'Connell.

It also seems that unfortunate scorer was substituted shortly afterwards.

We're reliably informed that an own point - possibly even more amusing than this one - was scored earlier this year by Killinkere's Martin Reilly against Belturbet.
