Bruce fans all over Ireland weren't the only ones pleased with themselves after Springsteen's Croke Park date last night. For those in attendance, it was definitely worth the money as the Boss rolled out a three and half hour set.

It was definitely worth it for the GAA too.

Springsteen's sold out gigs this weekend are set to earn the GAA €2 million. In comparison - the total income from the 118 Allianz Football League games was €2.5 million last year.

The good news keeps coming for the GAA, who are expected to announce higher figures for this year's league, as well as host the Beyonce concert in Croker on July ninth.

There have only been 26 concerts in Croke Park since 2005, and it makes you think how much the association would have earned had the Garth Brooks' concerts gone ahead.

Too soon?
