The Americans got a taste of hurling this evening as Fenway Park hosted the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic, where Galway defeated Dublin by a score of 50-47.

The rules and pitch were adapted, and the game was split into four quarters, and while we the crowd were delighted to get a sense of Irish culture and enjoy the festival taking place, many watching back home were not too sure about one aspect in particular.

Before the game began, Amhrán na bhFiann was belted out by a very enthusiastic individual who put his own unique spin on the anthem, but not everyone was a fan of the new "jazzed-up" version.
