Bruce Springsteen added himself to the esteemed list of people who have performed at both Wembley and Croke Park over the weekend, but perhaps more pertinently didn't 'pull a Garth', which is good news for all of us.
LPGA Tour golfer Sophie Gustafson was in attendance at Croke Park on Sunday evening, where there were warnings of shameless pontificating and incoming inflated egos on the horizon.
Before the gig kicked off, however, the 23-time event winner (5 victories on the LPGA) took in some of the sights at the home of GAA.

Naturally, the aforementioned forecast would put a dampener on Gustafson's evening; not moments before the gig was set to kick off, Gustafson and her friends were removed from their assigned area, deemed a security risk for The Boss' special guest...

Fans went wild as the U2 frontman - spotted arriving at the gig earlier in the evening with Larry Mullen and The Edge - joined Springsteen for a rendition of 'Because the Night'. Gustafson, however, was far from impressed that she and her peers fell victim to the singer's security requirements.

Thankfully, it would appear that Gustafson also attended last night's gig minus Bono, although its unclear if she has yet to indulge in the true Irish experience like Springsteen himself; The Boss spent much of his day yesterday bowling at Leisureplex in Stillorgan.
