Conor McGregor's Team For The Ultimate Fighter Features One Very Familiar Face

Earlier today Conor McGregor's team for the 22nd season of The Ultimate Fighter was announced along with the list of American opponents to be coached by Urijah Faber in a Europe Vs The USA style tournament.

We were hoping to see a few Irish prospects on the list of participants, but instead we saw only one, and he's a prospect killer.

Artem "The Russian Hammer" Lobov, also commonly referred to as "The Prospect Killer" by his friends at SBG, will be the only fighter who fights out of Ireland on the show, and if you are unaware of his career up to this point, you will surely recognise him as Conor McGregor's sparring partner in the ultra popular UFC Embedded Vlog series.

Have you got that?

We're looking forward to seeing Lobov on the show, and of course we're looking to see how Conor McGregor handles the coaching role as he attempts to defeat Faber, who has already coached on the Ultimate Fighter (opposite Dominic Cruz in 2012).
