Ronda Rousey knocked out Bethe Correira in 34 seconds at UFC 190 last weekend, and will soon turn her attention to her acting career. She is now set for her biggest role to date, playing herself in her own biopic.

Major American film studio Paramount Pictures have bought the film rights to Rousey's autobiography 'My Fight/My Right' and want her to star in the film, she will also produce along with Godzilla producer Mary Parent.

Parent said:

It’s a real honor to be a part of bringing Ronda’s incredible story to the bigscreen.

The film will document Rousey's troubled upbringing and how she upset the odds to become an MMA star. Screenwriter Mark Bomback will adapt the book, his recent credits include Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Rousey has emerged as arguably the biggest star in UFC history and has extended her talent to film with performances in Expendables 3 and Furious 7 already. Her biopic will be the second time she plays herself after appearing in the Entourage film earlier this Summer.

Rousey is expected to compete in one more UFC fight this year, which could be on the Conor McGregor v Jose Aldo card, before she begins shooting for the Steven Berg-directed 'Mile 22' in January.
