Watch: Nate Diaz's Reaction To Cristiano Ronaldo On ESPN Was Highly Enjoyable

Nate Diaz must be a Lionel Messi fan.

Or rather, he barely knows the sport of soccer exists as he has absolutely no clue who Cristiano Ronaldo is, and when presented with an image of Real Madrid star posing with Conor McGregor, he had a laugh at his tan.

McGregor met up with Ronaldo in Las Vegas recently and the pair had a good laugh when comparing each others' positions on the Forbes list, but Nate clearly would be more interested in meeting Jennifer Lopez, as Conor also did around when he had a chinwag with Ronaldo.

ESPN asked Nate what he thought about McGregor being pally with the stars, and after having a laugh at Ronaldo, he gave a fairly sensible response.

That other dude [Ronaldo], look at that dude.

Who is that guy? He's been in the tanning booth too long huh?

Nate and Conor's relationship this time around is clearly more amicable, which is understandable from Diaz's point of view as he has no need to exchange verbal jabs with McGregor considering his performance back at UFC 196.

It's all good though, that's cool he's doing his thing.

They should be hanging out with him too, he's fighting in the cage in front of the world, in front of a lot of people, and it's cool that people are recognising and representing for the people that are actually putting a lot on the line.

While the trash talking is not going to be near the level it was for the last fight, it doesn't need to be as the anticipation to see how both fighters will approach the bout with a full camp is more than enough.
