I thought diving this bad only took place in football with players trying to con the referee. Australian diver Maddison Keeney was awarded no points after she pulled out of a dive to just fall into the water.
It's a highly bizarre event, and really doesn't make any sense to see in a diving World Championships. That's like toe booting a putt to win the Ryder Cup.
