I wasn't sure what to expect when saw this tweet saying that Connacht Rugby are going to have a new kit for the 2016/17 season. Perhaps it was the memory of loving the old one on release and then seeing the horrendous blue covering the entire back.

The PRO12 champions have had some good pieces of kit in the last while, and some photos of their training have revealed some nice training gear. But what really matters is the playing gear.

The sleekness, the freshness of that green. As long as it's the same colour the whole way around - I want it. I want it bad. The fact that the shorts look to be green is an issue - spare a thought for the colour-blind amongst us. But that is a nice piece of kit.
