Francis Saili is now one of Munster's go-to men. The one-cap New Zealander was brought in on a decent contract, and should be central to Munster's plans for the upcoming season.

It's often thought that some imports into Irish Rugby don't know a huge amount about the team they are about to join - but Saili is different.

Saili was worshipping Munster hero Ronan O'Gara from way back with his time in Auckland. Speaking at the launch of Munster's new European jersey, Saili revealing that O'Gara's kicking style was the one that players tried to copy - not Dan Carter's:

When I was growing up, he was one of the players I used to admire, and we had a thing in training sessions when we used to practise ‘the O’Gara kick’ to the corner.

With the Blues, we used to line up as backs kicking to the corner and shouting ‘O’Gara,’ to get a low trajectory to give the other wide players a chance to score.

How to further endear yourself to a manical fanbase by Francis Saili 101. He should be in for a fine season.
