Denis Hurley has confirmed that he is leaving Munster.

Via a post on his Instagram account yesterday, Hurley said he was 'happy to have played out his dreams' and was now looking forward to a new challenge.

One last walk out My wife nabbed this pic after the end of season game on Saturday. I had our baby girl in my arms to get a pic together on the pitch. A moment she will never remember but both of us will remember for many reasons. All the memories this pitch has given us over the years & it culminated in a quiet moment for us to savour as a family. Happy to have played out my dreams here but now a new challenge awaits and we're excited about what may lie ahead. Thanks for all the support over the years @nessahurley #Emie-Rose

After becoming a regular for Anthony Foley last season, Hurley stuggled with injuries in 2015/16. His last game for the province came back in January against Stade Francais.

The fullback turned centre made his debut for Munster in 2006 and went on to make 166 appearances in total for the province.

Last season he was rewarded with a one-year extension to his deal. That ends in June and it looks as though he was not been offered the chance to remain at Thomond Park.
