While former players flounder on the coaching staff, one ex-player continues to thrive on the field.

At the ripe age of 38, Peter Stringer excellence with Sale Sharks has been rewarded by his receiving of the supporter's player of the season award. Sale have had a good season, and are fifth in the Premiership, and his influence has been recognised by supporters:
