In a competition made up from teams from four different countries - it's perhaps surprising to see just two of them represented in the list of eight nominees for PRO12 try of season.

Sky Sports is asking for your vote for the award - which features five players for Irish provinces. We present to you the eight best tries of the season:

Stuart McCloskey v Ospreys (September Try Of The Month)

A great team try finished off with some ridiculous strength from McCloskey - a great way to start the season off.

Craig Gilroy v Treviso (October Try Of The Month)

This try is all about Craig Gilroy's natural talent. He seems to score at least one of these beauties a season.

Bundee Aki v Munster (November Try Of The Month)

Because of what it means, how it came about, the offload, and the athleticism this was one of the more memorable tries of the season.

The actual try starts at 2.14 in the clip:

Matt Scott v Glasgow (December Try Of The Month)

A huge Scottish derby, it's all about the power and offload from Cornell du Preez.

Dave Kearney v Ospreys (January Try Of The Month)

The play before with the kick to Nacewa was nice - but this was vintage Johnny Sexton.

Matt Healy v Zebre (February Try Of The Month)

Healy ended up with a hat-trick in this game, but his first was the one that Sky Sports loved the most.

Tommy Seymour (March Try Of The Month)

The only try scored against an Irish province, from an old Ulster boy too. Out of the same drawer as Dave Kearney's effort - but perhaps a better finish from Seymour who had more to do.

Stuart Hogg (April Try Of The Month)

This is why Scotland aren't pushovers anymore - and why Hogg will be the Lions full-back.
