Wasps' out-half Jimmy Gopperth has been cited for 'punching or striking' Matthew Tait during his side's loss to Leicester on Sunday.

The ex-Leinster player received a yellow card 54 minutes into the game for the flying punch as he challenged Tait for the ball in the air.

Wasps lost the game 24-16.
