This could change things. When looking through the team-sheets ahead of Ireland v Wales, the only real area of weakness in the visitors' side - if you could even call it that - looked to be at the fullback spot.

Leigh Halfpenny is still sidelined with a knee injury and while Gareth Anscombe is a decent enough replacement, he is a long way off the Toulon star's level.

But whatever perceived weakness Wales might have had in the last line of their defence looks to have evaporated according to today's reports. The New Zealand-born back has apparently been ruled out through injury and Liam Williams has reportedly been flown into Dublin in his place.

Most people expected Williams to line out at 15 anyway but after during the week Warren Gatland said that the Scarlets attacker wouldn't be ready to return from injury until next week's clash with Scotland.

Williams is a spikey character who often gets in the opposition's face but he is an accomplished fullback who has often been shunted to the wing due to Halfpenny's presence in the 15 jersey. With the weather set to be typically Irish, whoever thrives more under the high ball could well win the game.

It is a massive test for Simon Zebo and it has gotten a little harder after this late reshuffle.
