Wasps and Saracens played out a decent Champions Cup semi-final in front of a half-empty small stadium on Saturday. The money bags of Saracens outlasted Wasps, but the result was overshadowed by a kick to the head from Wasps replacement prop Simon McIntyre.

Saracens' Maro Itoje was at fault at first for holding onto McIntyre's leg, but for some reason the prop kicks out at Itoje - making contact with his head.

Unbelievably, the TMO and referee, reviewed the situation and decided it was only a yellow card offense.

It doesn't matter if it wasn't a full force blow to the head - in a day and age when concussions are so prevalent and the dangers are obvious - the head should be sacrosanct.

It is not acceptable to make contact with someone else's head under any circumstances, and McIntyre should have been sent off.
