"There's no gentle way for me to say it, you wrestle like a coward."

Those were the words from Daniel Bryan which really set off The Miz as the two launched into an incredibly entertaining promo on 'Talking Smack'.

Bryan was recently appointed as the new GM of SmackDown, though was not present on the show last night. As The Miz had just won the intercontinental title at SummerSlam at the weekend, he wanted to know why. Bryan retorted that he had respect for the title but not for the new champion; the reason being his wrestling style.

In an argument which really blurred the lines between reality and scripted TV, The Miz hit back at Bryan who six months ago retired from wrestling due to concussion.

Let's talk about cowards for one second. The reason that I wrestle the way I wrestle is beacause I can do it day in and day out all the time for 10-plus years. I have never, ever in my career been injured. I don't get injured for six months to a year. I am here each and every week but you sit there and call me a coward.

Let me tell you about a coward. Let me tell you about a guy that tells WWE fans, the people that he loves that he will be back. He promises them, 'I promise you I will be back in one year's time to claim this title.'

But you didn't Daniel, did you? But I'm the coward. I'm the one that doesn't love the fans.

It ended with Bryan walking off the set.
