Frankie’s Lock of The Week: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) @ 10/11 (General)

The St. Louis Rams roll into Tampa on Sunday looking to heap more misery on the Buccaneers, who suffered a humiliating 41-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints last weekend.

Tampa will be hoping to salvage some pride and the good news is the stats point to them doing just that.

Teams who have come off a 28 point or more defeat in their previous game bounce back and cover the spread 61% of the time since 2005. They're good numbers when you also consider that it is not so long ago that this Bucs team looked as if they were about to click.

Running back Doug Martin was poor last Sunday against the Saints but if he can get any sort of ground game going early then the Bucs should be more than capable of handling this spread.

The Rams have one of the poorest offences in the NFL and are only averaging around 18 points per game. If they get in a hole early they will struggle to dig a way out.

Frankie’s Underdog of the Week: Baltimore Raves @ 6/5 (General)

Okay, it's not going to be a huge shock if the Ravens come good against the New York Giants on Sunday but they're still ranked as the underdog, even with home field advantage.

Both of these sides were shown up big time last weekend. The Giants suffered their first shut-out in 16 years as they crumbled to a 34-0 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons. While the Ravens were handed a 34-17 defeat to the Denver Broncos.

The Giants have been inconsistent all year so I remain reluctant to bet against them as you never know which Giants team is going to show up, but nonetheless I'm going to side with the play-off bound Ravens to pull this one out of the bag in front of a home crowd.

Frankie’s Team to Avoid: New Orleans Saints @ 11/10 (Stan James)

What have the Saints suddenly done to justify odds of 11/10 on the road against a Dallas Cowboys side that have won three straight games?

True they were impressive against Tampa Bay last Sunday but that was a freak result in my view and they have been extremely disappointing over the season.

The Saints are coughing up 27 points per game and against an in-form Dallas offence that's not going to be sustainable.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying Dallas are going to romp this, but if you're going to back the Saints make sure you're getting better odds than 11/10.
