On Tuesday night the Toronto Raptors hosted the Chicago Bulls in what proved to be an intensely faught battle that would stretch all the way to overtime.

The main talking point from the game was unquestionably a melee that broke out in the third quarter after Raptors centre Serge Ibaka laid a dig on Robin Lopez of the Bulls which sparked a reaction, that quickly escalated into a full-blown fight.

After Jimmy Butler hit a three-pointer to put the Bulls up by 16, frustrations boiled over. The referees deserve a lot of credit for jumping right into the middle of it to break it up, despite two large men wildly swinging punches.

Both players were ejected from the game, and could be facing sanctions from the NBA which could lead to suspension.

The Raptors would go on to come back and tie the game in the fourth quarter, eventually going on to win in overtime by a score of 120-122.

Ibaka has only been in Toronto for three weeks having been acquired from the Orlando Magic, so clearly he's wasting no time in endearing himself to the Ice Hockey fans that populate the vast majority of the city.
