Kevin Garnett Denies That He Said Carmelo Anthony's Wife Tastes Like Honey Nut Cheerios.

There were rumours doing the rounds on the internet yesterday that the reason for the heated altercation between Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony during the Celtics and Knicks game on Monday night was because Garnett had told Anthony that his wife, La La Vasquez, tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.

Following a tussle and some exchanged words between Anthony and Garnett in Monday night's game, they both received a technical foul. Anthony then allegedly waited for Garnett outside the Celtics locker room before being captured on video waiting for Garnett near the Celtics team bus.

Garnett denied the rumours through a post on his Facebook page.
