San Francisco Giants outfielder Eugenio Velez gets drilled in the head with a foul ball at the Arizona Diamondbacks over the weekend. He has been put on a 15 day disabled list.

The SF Chronicle reported
Velez sustained a concussion but escaped with no skull fracture when the ball hit him just above the left ear. He underwent tests and spent the night at a local hospital before his discharge Sunday morning. Velez then joined the Giants for their flight home.
"I'm dizzy," he said. "They said I'm going to be like that for a few days."
