After a long battle with cancer, ESPN presenter Stuart Scott passed away yesterday aged 49. He broke the mould for what a sports presenter could be when he joined the broadcaster in 1993.

During NFL Network's playoff coverage yesterday, Rich Eisen, who at one point in his career had worked with Scott at ESPN, broke the news that he had died.
It was an emotional farewell from a man who had clearly just lost a valued friend.
