With the Premiership on a two-week hiatus, Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner, has decided to send the much beleaguered Alex McLeish to Cleveland to meet with Lerner's NFL team's Coach Pat Shumur. According to the article in the Independent, in what can only be described as the polar opposite of a meeting of the minds, the purpose of the get together is for "McLeish to share ideas with Shurmur on topics such as player evaluation, scouting, rehab and training". In other words McLeish, has been ordered  to listen and take ideas from a coach whose team finished with the fourth worst record in the NFL last season.Maybe McLeish, could share his strategic philosophy with the Browns, by suggesting they put eleven players on the goal line at all times regardless if they are supposed to be playing defence or offense.
