For the remainder of his NBA career and probably life, JR Smith may never forget the exasperated look which crossed LeBron James's face at the end of regular time in Game One of this year's NBA finals.

With the game tied between the Cavaliers and the Warriors and just under five seconds left on the clock, the Cavs' George Hill missed a free throw to win the game. Smith claimed the rebound but rather than shoot, dribbled beyond the three-point line.

He later admitted to reporters that he may have told James on the court that he thought the Cavaliers were leading at the time. The Warriors would go on to win the game in extra time.

On Sunday night, the Warriors won Game Two - this time on the back of 33 points and an NBA finals record nine three-pointers from Steph Curry.

As the teams were being announced pre-game, the home crowd loudly booed the Cavalier players, apart from JR Smith who received a standing ovation.

During the game, as he stood at the free throw line, there were also loud 'MVP' chants for the 14-year NBA veteran.
