This Interview With Jordan Henderson's Dad Is Simply A Beautiful Thing
Ah lads. You don't have to be a Liverpool fan - in fact, you can actively dislike Liverpool (cough cough) - to have the cockles of your heart warmed by a couple of wonderful moments after Saturday night's final, starring Jordan Henderson's dad.
The Liverpool captain's father, Brian, has recently overcome a decade long battle with throat cancer and was the picture of good health in Madrid, witnessing his son lift the European Champion Clubs' Cup.
Admist the post-match celebrations, Henderson spotted his father and the pair shared a touching embrace on the touchline.

Not only that but Brian, made a name for himself on Optus Sport, blessing them with a lovely interview directly after the game.
"It's just very emotional. The tears come. You grab your wife, you grab the daughter-in-law, you grab anyone round you. I'm just so happy."
Speaking about the pride in seeing his son lift the trophy, Brian remembered a story about a previous Champions League final he had brought Jordan to see when he was just ten years old:
When he was ten I took him to see a Champions League final in Man United, between the two Milans. And when they came out to the Champions League music, he said "Dad I'm going to play there [the final] one day."
Not only once but twice, and now he's won one. I'm absolutely delighted for him.
Brian then got a little distracted by the emergence of one Jamie Carragher. Henderson senior embraced the Liverpool legend for a hug before exclaiming "We're on the TV!"
