The news comes after a knee injury Chamberlain suffered against Roma last April. As a result, the 24-year-old missed the Champions League Final and World Cup. He is now set to miss the entire 2018/2019 season due to ligament damage.

The former Arsenal player had been in great form for Liverpool, playing in the centre of a 4-3-3.

As reported by LFC.com, Klopp confirmed the news today.

It feels like now is an appropriate time to tell people that for Ox this coming season will be about focusing on recovery and rehab.

“We have known this from pretty much the day after he got the injury and after the successful surgery we were sure of it. I hope everyone treats this information responsibly.
