Luka Modric was named FIFA Men's Player of the Year in London on Monday night.
An interesting aspect of the awards is that FIFA releases the list of whom each national captain, manager and media member voted for.
Ireland captain Seamus Coleman and manager Martin O'Neill disagreed on Player of the Year. Coleman listed his one, two, three as Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
O'Neill did not include Modric in his top three. Messi, Ronaldo and Mo Salah received the recognition of O'Neill.
Ireland's voting member of the media, the Irish Daily Mail's Philip Quinn, opted for Kylian Mbappé, Raphael Varane and Modric.
In the Coach of the Year category, O'Neill voted for Didier Deschamps, Zlatko Dalic and Pep Guardiola while Coleman chose Deschamps, Zinedine Zidane and Dalic.

In the vote for FIFA Women's Player of the Year, Ireland captain Katie McCabe opted for Pernille Harder (Denmark), Amandine Henry (France), Dzsenifer Marozsan (Germany).
Ireland women's manager Colin Bell vote for Harder, Marozsan and France's Wendie Renard.
