Mario Balotelli has faded into obscurity somewhat since his move to Nice in 2016. The Italian has found some form though, netting 17 goals in his last season and 21 so far in the French club's current campaign.

The erstwhile firework enthusiast has even been the subject of calls to reintroduce him into the international setup. His contract with Nice expires in the Summer and Balotelli's agent, the abominable Mino Raiola, has given an update on potential destinations for the Italian misfit:

Mario is ready to come back to Italy. He is one of the 10 best strikers in the world, and the No. 1 in Italy.

He is worth €100 million, but he is a free agent so he is a bargain.

I'm already negotiating with many teams in England and Italy. I talked with Juventus, Roma, Napoli, Inter.

€100 million? However crazy the market has gone post-Neymar, the Italian super agent has clearly added in some hyperbole in his assessment of his client.

In any case, Balotelli is still only 27-years-old and should be approaching the best years of his career, though you do feel that a move to Italy would be more beneficial to the controversial striker due to the media attention he would elicit upon any return to England.

Raiola also ruled out a return to AC Milan for the striker, citing his frosty relationship with the Rossoneri's sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli:

AC Milan? No, because there is Mirabelli, and I can't talk with him, I'm not at his level.

Raiola is clearly not flavour of the month in Milan, after urging his other client, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, to leave the Serie A club. Donnarumma was set to leave the club last Summer but had a change of heart penning a four year contract with the Milan side. Raiola stated that should the 19-year-old wish to transfer away from the Italian side, he would waste no time in arranging the move:

Gigio made a choice to stay at AC Milan and I respect it. If he should ask me to leave I would work on it immediately because there are important requests.
