Manchester United recovered from their shock Champions League exit to defeat Brighton 2-0 in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday night, but in an ironic twist, it was their most recent performance that infuriated boss Jose Mourinho.

Having been surprisingly upbeat after the mid-week loss to Sevilla, Mourinho took aim at several players after the FA Cup clash.

Mourinho's accused his players of shirking "responsibility" and being devoid of "desire." While United did win the game thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matić, they were once again inefficient going forward and failed to play any consistent free-flowing football.

Right or wrong, no-one could accuse Jose Mourinho of ducking a fight.

Manchester United are not scheduled to be in action again until March 31st when they play Swansea, so Mourinho has plenty of time to address his long list of grievances.
