Hawthorn's Irish duo Conor Nash and Conor Glass both featured today as the Hawks secured an 80-76 victory over St Kilda at the Etihad Stadium.

Nash and Glass are former minor stars for Meath and Derry respectively. Today was a special occasion for the pair who are housemates in Melbourne as it was the first time they played an AFL game together.

A week after a promising debut, Nash grabbed his first goal in the third quarter with a nice sidestep and finish.

Speaking to Balls.ie earlier this month, Nash said a common talking point amongst the Irish abroad is to get the three Conors on the same pitch. Former Tyrone underage footballer Conor McKenna is currently with Essendon.

We always joke it would be brilliant if it was myself and Conor (Glass) started playing against Conor McKenna, having the three Conor's on the pitch would be massive some day.

The pair spoke to 7AFL post-game and were clearly delighted after the 'special occasion.'
