There is a tonne of ways for you to earn cash and have it not take too long. Some of these are legal and some are not so legal. The first way is to simply progress through the story.

Yes, we know this is quite obvious but as you progress through the chapters you will build up a nice stash of cash. For certain missions, you can get north of $200. Don't forget any cash that you do earn you should give some to the camp so you can upgrade its amenities.

Looting is another component that can lead to you getting a nice chunk of change. Anyone you kill can be looted while you can also loot environments. Items you find while looting can be sold in your camp.

Hunting animals is another way to make easy cash. You can sell the hide at the butcher for a decent sum if you get a clean kill. Try to avoid using guns to kill as it'll destroy the pelt and affect how much you can get for the meat. Your Bow and arrow is your best friend when hunting animals. The most common animal is the Whitetail Deer. If you kill it with a bow and arrow it should fetch at least $10.

Bounty hunting can be quite financially rewarding and usually doesn't take too long to find your target. The first Bounty is worth $50 but as you progress through the game the value for each bounty increases.

However, if you do commit a crime you will end up having a bounty on your head. To get rid of a bounty, head to your local post office, which is visible on your minimap as an envelope. Pay the clerk and your bounty will be cleared.
