The traditional post-Hill haunt of a GAA Sunday has been put up for sale, with owners Cathal and Paula Jackson deciding to get rid as they approach retirement.
Owner of the adjacent Jackson Hotel, Mr Jackson paid tribute to the nightclub's "great and loyal customers".
It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level and to continue to deliver the "best night out in Dublin" to all our great and loyal customers.
All very well for you's lads, but where is the assurance of entry on All-Ireland weekend, eh?

The sale will be by private treaty with the business also up for grabs, as a going concern.
Estimates for the Harcourt Street property have started at €40 million.
