Following former UFC-star Ronda Rousey's move to WWE, the odds on Conor McGregor appearing at WrestleMania 34 have fallen to 7/4.
The biggest WWE event of the year will take place on April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a regular occurrence that celebrities are attached to the event while rumours have swirled since last year that McGregor may feature at the event.
An OddsChecker spokesperson announced the price move today.
As with any Wrestlemania, one of the biggest talking points is what celebrities and sports stars will turn up on the night.
“One of the more vocal celebrities rumoured to be in attendance is the Notorious Conor McGregor – and if bookies are correct – he could well be appearing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
McGregor was visibly delighted when asked about Rousey's move to the WWE last month, while stressing her contribution to their own sport in recent years.
I'm delighted for her. Absolutely over the moon for her. She looked like she really enjoyed herself at the event and I was very, very happy to see her. She's a pioneer for the game and she's came through it all and faced big wins and big, big losses and she came through it and it's great to see her represent herself and mixed martial arts and have fun in the WWE I know she's been a big fan of it all her life, so it's great to see that.
Rousey is set for a Mixed Tag Team match at WrestleMania 34, with the 'Notorious' quite possibly in attendance cheering her on.
